On each page I also explain why I use the item, how I use the item, and I provide at least one resource for obtaining the item. There are also links to chapters from the aforementioned defunct book on ultralight backpacking. The links are categorized by season. If you've decided that you're not all that interested and would rather just look at pictures, click on the "Backcountry Photographs" link. (Note: I had a hardware crash right before I published this site, and so far I've only had time to rebuild some of the pages referenced below, and those are not complete. So, please check back often.
